Our latest addition to the Commander series is inspired by a rare Smiths dive model that only appeared in the 1971 catalogue - a rare gem we discovered just last year - this new release brings a beloved vintage design into the modern era. Faithfully capturing the original aesthetic whilst being updated with a modern specification.
The distinctive baton hands from the original design remain, now enhanced with ultra-bright Super-LumiNova inserts for superior visibility in low light. The bezel also features fully lumed numerals and indices, elevating both function and style.
The retro-styled bracelet is equipped with a signed push-button clasp and four-position “on-the-fly” micro-adjustment for easy sizing throughout the day. Quick-release spring bars make strap changes effortless.
Available in two striking dial options:
• A black satin dial with matching Pie Pan detailing
• A white dial with a silver sunburst Pie Pan finish
Both models offer robust performance with 300m water resistance and an anti-magnetic rating of 20,000 A/m—making them technically capable sports watches that transition seamlessly into more formal settings.

The Bracelet screws are not fully tightened to allow for easy first-time adjustment. After sizing please tighten and we suggest using a removable threadlock such as Loctite Blue 242 to secure the screws.
All watches are guaranteed against defective workmanship for 24 months from date of purchase and the guarantee for the first 12 months applies to the original purchaser only.
