Bucherer was founded in 1888 and are the largest watch retailers in Switzerland. For many years they were the largest retailer of Rolex watches in the world and you can still find Rolex spoons by Bucherer offered for sale on eBay. Case Stainless steel case with screw back, gold plated diamond cut bezel, champagne dial, acrylic "cyclops" crystal and jubilee-style bracelet. I'm sure the style is instantly recognisable. :-) Dimensions 27mm diameter, 33.4mm lug tip to lug tip, 10.5mm thick and 14mm lug spacing. Movement ETA 17 jewel automatic, calibre 2671. Tissot has a long history of manufacture of fine watches, often regarded as the equal of Omega. Sadly now just another name in the behemoth which is The Swatch Group. Case Stainless steel screw view back case with gold plated stepped bezel and signed crown. The dial has a shiny silver outer chapter and matte silver centre. Dating from the 1970s, the Orfina Porsche Design watches are now quite collectible. The two examples offered here, whilst new old stock and unworn, have small defects which is reflected in the low price. The black dial has a small mark on the dial directly above the 5 marker and the blue dial has a crack in the luminous on the minute hand. Not major defects but they should be mentioned. Case The steel case model is bead blasted and the black case is "black chrome" (not PVD). Both have screw backs and screw down crown. Rated water resistant to 100 metres although water resistance cannot be guaranteed on vintage watches. Dimensions 30mm diameter, 32mm lug tip to lug tip, 11mm thick and 16mm lug spacing. There are very few limited editions specifically for ladies, this one has been introduced by popular demand. If the Speedbird 1903 is the brother to the Speedbird PRS-1, then this one is the sister. A limited edition of just 50 numbered pieces makes it a very exclusive wristwatch. Case Brushed stainless steel case with screw view back, domed sapphire crystal and water resistant to 50 metres.
